Victor Engelbrecht

Victor Engelbrecht was born in Namibia in 1977
He always enjoyed art, amongst his other hobbies and sports. He was the under 19 rugby team Captain in Namibia, worked in the mining industry and is a qualified refrigeration mechanic. He also has experience in the hospitality industry, which he enjoyed.
After breaking his neck twice, he was confined to a wheelchair in 2003.
Since his disability, Victor has started painting full time. His eagerness, positivity and excitement about his creativity helps him to overcome his physical hardships and he is bursting with ideas and inspiration.
He moved to the Masonic Home in Durbanville in 2020 and says his lifeline and passion is painting.
